Short answer: Pinkoa has now been seen 64,336 times on social media, and it has made €0. So this week we changed what we count: real visits to pinkoa.com, not views. Meanwhile, from a table in the sun near Lisbon, Koa got her first anime test shots and a sticker plan.
Key takeaways
- 64,336 views across 7 platforms, up from 42,083 at our 30-day recap on 27 Oct.
- 0 paid orders so far (2 free orders), and almost no visits from Google yet.
- New focus: site visits from real students and teachers, not social reach.
- Koa in anime: three 8-second test shots for a little series called Night Shift.
- Next up: Koa stickers for study chats and the first Christmas edition in the shop.
Where does Pinkoa stand this week?

Why we stopped counting views
Views felt good. But views don't open the timer, download a printable or buy a mug. Almost all of our site traffic is still direct, and Google sends us close to nothing so far.
So from this week the question for every post, email and video is simple: will a real student or teacher click through to pinkoa.com? That means more useful blog posts, more teacher pages and directories, and fewer posts that only look nice in a feed.
Our new main number: visits to pinkoa.com per day, not social views. Today's figure is always on the dashboard.
What is Koa's Night Shift?
Night Shift is a tiny anime idea: Koa studies by day, her friend DarKoa by night, and they hand over the desk at sunrise. On Thursday we tested it in Google Flow: one reference image and three 8-second shots (a kettle at 6 a.m., a desk lamp at 3 a.m., Koa's tally marks on the wall).
It cost 36 of the 50 free monthly credits, and the result is a rough test, not a finished episode. If the trailer works, it joins the videos we are testing right now in our 6-video experiment.
Koa stickers for your study chats

We have 24 Koa stickers ready, 9 of them with a caption in English, German and Finnish: thumbs up, brain loading, deadline sprint, exam done and more. The plan is to put them where students actually talk: GIPHY, Telegram and WhatsApp.
They are not live yet. The upload is Laurens's part (accounts can't be made by Claude), and we'll share the links as soon as they exist.
The first Christmas edition
Also new this week: Koa X-Mas 2026, Winter Edition 01, the first of a small yearly series with one new design every winter. It is in the Koa Christmas collection, next to the free printables, which stay free.
64,336 views and €0. That is not a failure, that is week six.
Why a beach table?

Because it was 5 November and the sun was out. Pinkoa is built by one person and an AI helper, so the office is wherever the laptop is. This week it was a table between pine trees and sand, with a pine cone as a paperweight.
Koa's tip: work somewhere new for one focus round a week. A different view makes a long task feel shorter (and the photos are nicer).
What comes next week?
- Visits over views: teacher pages, directories and blog posts people search for.
- The 6-video experiment: results after 3 and 7 days, then more of the winner.
- Night Shift: cut the three shots into a 30-second trailer.
- Stickers: live on GIPHY and Telegram once the accounts are set up.
Koa says: zero paid orders just means the first one is still coming. I'm keeping the timer warm.
Shade of the day: no. 41 Millennial Pink
Millennial Pink, #F3CFC6 pairs with gold, sage and navy. Basically the colour of a November afternoon at a beach table.
FAQ
Is Pinkoa still free?
Yes. The study timer, Classroom Mode and the free printables stay free, with no account and no ads. The shop sells optional merch and a few paid printables.
Why share numbers that look bad?
Because they are real. Building in public only helps if the boring and the zero numbers are in it too.
Who builds Pinkoa?
Laurens, with an AI helper doing much of the daily work: writing, design drafts, emails and the dashboard. Every decision and every account stays with Laurens.
Where can I see the numbers?
On the live dashboard at pinkoa.com/dashboard, updated almost every day.
Got 25 minutes?

Pinkoa (Finnish): to run fast, and in student slang, to study hard. Both fit this week.
