Pinkoa is a free study timer with Koa the pink koala: focus rounds and breaks, no account, no ads in the timer and no student data. Made to be linked from library study-skills, time-management and exam-prep guides.

What it is

What Pinkoa does

Three free tools that open in any browser.

Privacy

No accounts, no student data

  1. No login, no sign-up. Students open the page and start.
  2. Nothing about students is collected. Timer settings, the Study Pact and Classroom Mode are saved only in the browser on that device (local storage). We never receive them.
  3. No ads in the timer, and Classroom Mode loads no Google Fonts or third-party scripts.
  4. Like every page of our shop, pinkoa.com may show a cookie banner. Choosing "Decline" keeps only strictly necessary cookies.

Details for data-protection checks

See the section "Koa Classroom Mode" in our privacy policy. Provider: Laurens Laudowicz, Pinkoa, Weserstr. 52, 12045 Berlin, Germany, hello@pinkoa.com.

In the library and the classroom

Works on school devices

  • Nothing to install

Runs in any up-to-date browser on laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, phones and library PCs. No app, no plug-in, no account.

  • Made for projectors

Classroom Mode shows one big timer. Press F for full screen and Space to start; a "Dark board" option helps in bright rooms.

  • Accessibility

Buttons have text labels; the timer status is announced to screen readers without reading out every second; Classroom Mode can be used with the keyboard (Space, F, N) and respects the "reduce motion" setting; sound is off until you switch it on. We have not had a formal WCAG audit yet. Found a barrier? Tell us and we fix it.

  • Free forever

The timer, Classroom Mode and the Study Pact stay free, with no paywall and no upsell inside the tools. Pinkoa pays for itself through an optional shop with printables and merch.
